Bosnia: Mosque burned in Bosnia on Muslim holiday

A mosque in the eastern Bosnian village of Fazlagica Kula has been set on fire, just hours before the beginning of Eid-al-Adha. Media reports disclosed that the inside of the mosque and its roof were completely burned. Investigation into the incident is ongoing and the cause has not yet been confirmed, but Bosnian Muslim officials demanded that Bosnian Serb leadership and police identify and arrest the culprits. “Burning of the mosque in Fazlagica Kula, at the time when believers were supposed to carry out their religious duties, is a proof that there are still retrograde forces who want to prevent the return of trust,” said Nedzad Brankovic, leader of the Bosniak-Croat Federation.
