Sacramento, California Muslim school thriving

An expose from IslamOnline.net explores the ongoing success achieved by a local Muslim school in San Francisco, California. The al Arqam Islamic School has become an example that full-time comprehensive Islamic schools can thrive, 11 years after being officially accredited.

The school was also recently accepted into the academically rigorous International Baccalaureate program, and is the first private school in the Sacramento region to achieve that status.

The al Arqam Islamic School currently has more than 300 students enrolled, and has a waiting list of about 50 students. “People in our community really value education. They’re looking for an environment where their children can practice their religious values.” said Dalia Wardany, the school’s vice principal.
