Czech authorities are trying to find out who placed a pig’s head on the fence outside a mosque near Prague. Spokesperson Jan Milulovsky says that someone also wrote “Stop Islam” on the fence, partially damaging the wall and entrance to the mosque in the Kyje neighborhood on the outskirts of Prague. Photographs of the incident appeared on the internet website of the Czech ultra-right National party. The National Party is known for holding resentment towards Islam and Muslims. “Pull mosques down, ban Islam and imprison Islamists for life over their being Islamists,” said a byline on the party’s website. Nor arrests or suspects in the incident have been named.
