A boar’s head was found at the site made over by the Lleida city hall to the local Muslim community for the construction of a mosque in substitution of the older and smaller pre-existing one. Seemingly it was thought by the authors of the deed that the presence of the animal would make the grounds improper for use by Muslim believers.
