Dutch MP Trial Set to Resume

November 12 2010

Three new judges have been appointed by an Amsterdam court for the trial of anti-Islam politician Geert Wilders. Wilders faces charges of discrimination and inciting hatred against Muslims for his comments comparing the Quran to Mein Kampf, among others. The previous judges were dismissed last month after a series of irregularities caused officials to deem the trial biased. No date has been set for resuming court proceedings.
