“Social responsibility” will be the slogan of mosques opening doors to the public at the German unification day, October 3rd . The central council of Muslims calls all citizens to take social responsibility at school, at social facilities and at neighborhoods. Civic engagement would be part of social responsibility and community life.
That said, Muslims and Islamic associations have complained about this week´s general discussion across German media and public demanding Muslims to demonstrate their distance and rejection towards the so called “Islamic State” IS, referring to their protests against the violence of the IS in Syria and Iraq.
