Republican Governor Bobby Jindal of Louisiana is standing by his claims that there are “no-go zones” around Europe. Despite both the retraction by Fox News earlier in the week and denouncements of the claims by both American and British leaders, Jindal claims that there are “no-go zones” in Europe.

During a recent visit to London, Governor Jindal warned that Muslims are trying to “colonize” some European cities and that the United States could be next. When asked to identify the so-called “no-go zones” Jindal cited a recent article from England’s Daily Mail which cited some urban areas where female genital mutilation and sexual abuse of minors goes unreported because of the population.

Governor Jindal also told reporters that radical Islam is “a threat to our way of life” and that assimilation is necessary.
