Linda studied Language, Culture and Translation at the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz (Germersheim), Germany. She has worked as a freelance translator and spent with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) one year as a German teacher at the University of Jordan, Amman. In 2014 she enrolled as a PhD student at the Alliance of Civilizations Institute in Istanbul. Currently she is working on a qualitative research on Islamophobia as a lived experience among Finnish convert Muslims. In addition to her native language Finnish, she speaks English, German, Swedish and Turkish and reads French.
