Muslims stay away, Fitna debate cancelled

Dutch lawmaker and filmmaker of the controversial anti-Quran film _Fitna’ cancelled the first of a series of debates on the Islamization of the Netherlands. The given reason, was that not enough Muslims agreed to attend. Of the 175 people who signed up for the May 16th debate, only a handful were Muslims; six imams and a local politician turned down invitations to appear at the debate, because they were not allowed to contribute their agendas to the debate, and their call for an independent chairman was rejected. No word is given about possible future debates.
