Former Muslim presents Islam film, titled “Interview With Muhammad”

Ehsan Jami, founder of the Committee for Former Muslims, presented his film – entitled “An interview with Muhammad.” The short 15-minute film looks back on the prophet Muhammad’s life as an interviewer questions him on women’s rights, non-believers, and Judaism. Jami asserts that the film is not anti-Islamic, but that he hopes the film will improve the situation for victims of Islam. He adds that he hopes “more Muslims in Holland, native or not, stand up and fight for it, and fight for what we really believe in, for our civilization, our culture, our human rights.” The film was presented to the press in the parliamentary press center in the Hague. The film has been called less inflammatory than the on released by Dutch lawmaker Geert Wilders, but still treads on dangerous and sensitive ground for many Muslims.
