The celebration of Ramadan during the month of August provokes alarm about the safety of the Muslim agricultural workers. Muslim workers ask for flexible working hours, while the employers demand from the workers a signed statement exempting the employer of any responsibility in case of work accidents derived from the lack of food and water during the hot summer days.
