The man who attacked a Muslim woman in a busy shopping center, because he thought she was “just another illegal immigrant” has now been sentenced. Ian Brazier, was given a six-week sentence that is suspended for 18 months, and ordered to complete a diversity awareness course by magistrates in the town.

In an unprovoked attack Brazier ripped apart Farhana Chughtaia’s veil, after his frustration that his favourite movie was not showing.
