The French National Observatory against Islamophobia (l’Observatoire national contre l’islamophobie) has reported that Anti-Muslim acts and threats reported in 2011 have increased 34% over the previous year.
According to Abdallah Zekri, president of the organization that is attached to the French Council of the Muslim Faith, these figures are from Statistics compiled by the sub-directorate of General Information (SDIG).
