Lucas Faure

Lucas Faure is a French PhD-candidate in Political Sciences at the Institute of Political Sciences of Aix-en-Provence. He holds a Research Masters in Religious Studies specialising on Islamic politics and practise on both sides of the Mediterranean Sea. He is currently working as a visiting research scholar in the Department of Theology and Religion at the University of Birmingham. His thesis focuses on the relationships between Islamic humanitarian organisations in France and those in the United-Kingdom, with special regard to the growth and evolution these organisations in relation to a generational shift. 
He has a special interest in the implications of faith-based organisations in development policies, both at the local and international level.
