A French court has sentenced Rachid Ramda to life in prison for his role in financing the 1995 bomb attacks on the Paris metro that killed eight people and wounded 200 others. Ramda was sentenced without the possibility of parole for 22 years; he has denied the charges and any involvement in the attacks.
