The same people that organized a major 2003 protest against the war in Iraq are now promoting a demonstration to demand that Israel end of the war against Gaza. The city of Madrid followed similar plans in Barcelona and other Spanish cities, with demonstrators embodying an anti- or “no to war” spirit, similar to feelings expressed over the U.S. invasion of Iraq.
