Muslims and Jews in Amsterdam demonstrate against the Paris Attacks

Several hundreds of people took part in a march that developed into a demonstration against the attacks in Paris. The demonstration was organized by synagogues and mosques in Amsterdam. Amongst the participants were also present: Amsterdam mayor Eberhard van der Laan, city-counsel member Kajsa Ollongren, district-chairman Thijs Reuten, and Parliamentary member Ahmed Marcouch.

The march passed by important historical places were people (i.e. refugees, immigrants) have historically arrived in Amsterdam in the past 75 years. Central were the stories of migrants and refugees so the crowd regularly stopped at synagogues and mosques to share their respective stories.
